Education

I have 3 different certificates with the Community College of Denver, and a year in the University of Colorado at Denver. In CCD (Community College of Denver), I learned how to draw, and how to solve problems using drawing as a medium to organize and expand your thoughts, so I will usually draw for larger and more complex problems. I had also developed a sense of how to utilize many different computer programs efficiently and effectively, and how to merge them to obtain the best solutions possible. Those programs are Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Sketch-Up Pro, Word, Excell, and a few Adobe programs.

Experience

During my time in both of these schools, I was a tutor for Computer Aided Design, Architecture History, Architecture Theory, and minoring in both Philosophy and Psychology. I was also the main lab assistant for the entire architecture program at CCD, and would often tutor people at the University of Colorado at Denver (UCD). I value teaching and sharing knowledge with those who are interested in learning. For that reason, I have wanted to be a teacher within architecture, and have felt that becoming a more prominent and experienced tutor can help me achieve taking steps to be a tutor.

Hobbies

I play guitar, piano and drums. Write Poetry and music. In my freetime, I typically play or write music, or am studying something in architecture, philosophy, or psychology. When it comes to sharing knowledge or teaching/tutoring, I have found that instead of continually giving lessons and hammering past learnings, the best way to get students to understand how to learn, is by finding what they already know, what they want to know, and teaching them to be able to navigate through resources to find the most helpful ones, and providing the correct answer when they have questions.
