Hobbies
I've spent a large portion of this year traveling down the west coast working on organic farms with freelance writing work on the side. I'm a student at Seattle Central Community College, but I will be transferring to Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon next fall. I do not believe that there is any one way to teach a child - effective tutoring means examining the way they learn and accommodating them. I treat all of the children I work with as individuals, as they should be treated. Regarding my interests, one of my greatest passions is cooking. In fact, I will be traveling to Spain in June to learn to cook authentic Spanish food for three months. I will gladly incorporate cooking into the tutoring sessions if this is what your child needs to better understand what they're being taught at school! Whatever it takes.
