Experience
I graduated from the University of Washington with a bachelor's degree in earth and space science. I have always loved science, especially getting into some of the hands on experiments. I have volunteered in a high school biology class. I have also tutored math occasionally. I have even volunteered for four years at the local zoo. While at the zoo, I spent time teaching visitors about the different animals that were on exhibit and on conservation.I am very flexible with my tutoring strategies and I am able to shift my focus for every group that I talk to. I am able to make learning exciting and fun. I just love to see the look on a child's face when he or she learns something new that they are excited about. While I excel in many subjects, some of the ones that I do the best in include all levels of calculus and algebra. I am also well versed in science, trigonometry, biology, chemistry, earth science, environmental science, physical science, and arithmetic.During my free time, I like to take part in roller derby, volunteer at PAWS, an read romance novels.
