EducationUniversity of Washington - BS, Physics, Astronomy
ExperienceI have two bachelor's degrees, one in Astronomy and the other in Physics from the University of Washington. I was the first in my family to attend college, and have known since I was a child that I wanted to be a scientist when I grew up. I have family members currently in school, and as such I feel it's my responsibility to tutor and support them as they chase down their goals, academically or otherwise. This feeling of responsibility extends to everyone, not only my family. My specialties are in tutoring Science and Mathematics. Specifically, I am prepared to help students with PreAlgebra, Algebra (levels 1-4 and college level), Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus (levels 1-3, and Multivariable), Chemistry, Physics, and Astronomy. I can also help students with AP courses, as well as those preparing for the ISEE exams. I believe that lifelong learning is very important. There is a multitude of amazing things in the world, and when you learn about them, you're able to learn about yourself. In my spare time, I like to keep active by lifting weights, running, and biking. I also enjoy playing music and watching movies.
HobbiesI like to listen to and play music and watch movies. I try to work out three times a week, and I enjoy learning.
